Mustard Beetle is a small business currently based out of Los Angeles, CA and owned by Elizabeth Jean. Jean translates her illustrations into prints on paper and fabric, alongside patches and pins! Her textiles are sustainably designed, dyed, and printed. Jean partners with researchers, scientists, and volunteers within multiple environmental organizations to assist in conservation. Recently, her work has begun to focus on the delicate balance and relationship between native species and the invasive species that threaten them.

Mira Blackman was born and raised in Northern California. She's a traveler, dancer, picnicker, and mother of two. Sustainability has always been at the heart of what she does. Within her personal company, she uses organic and all natural fabrics, creates low impact dyes, and makes all her clothing locally in small batches in her backyard studio. Every element from the temperature that day, to the direction the wind is blowing, contributes to the uniqueness of each piece. It's a truly magical and collaborative process!
